Inspired by a visit to Dorrigo National Park, NSW, this artwork captures the ancient trees, unfurling foliage and twisting vines in glorious Gondwana rainforest.
In appreciation of this beautiful place, I also incorported asemic writing in the spirit of ancient storytelling. Asemic writing is a wordless, open semantic form of writing with no specific meaning or content - it is left for the reader to interpret their own understanding and story.
This is a watercolour artwork painted on beautiful French-milled Arches paper with beautiful deckled edges.
